We will grow and achieve our objectives by teaming with our customers, partners and suppliers, and by sharing our knowledge and our technologies.

We also provide a challenging environment which allows our people to achieve their full potential!.

Technology & Training

In today’s extremely competitive environment, small details make a big difference. Steel Components has consistently invested in its manufacturing tools to stay one step ahead of the technology curve. Be it robotized machinery or design and just-in-time management systems, Steel does not leave anything to chance.

Our vast line of machinery include automatic presses, tubular bending machines, shears with the capacity of up to 5/8" thick, manual and robotic welding stations (MIG & TIG), CNC breaks, straight and cut wire machines, along with air benders, an in house machine shop, and powder coating facility. This enables us to produce semi-finished and finished products depending on our customer's needs.

We believe in participatory human resources management and we make sure that our personnel receives on-site training and can handle many different manufacturing tasks: each employee can interchange with another. Broader understanding of the chain of production creates a team feeling that translates into 100% quality control and process time reduction. Many of our personnel has been part of the Steel Components company for more than a decade of dedicated service.

Green Policy

Recycling is and has been part of Steel since its inception. Steel is by nature a recycled product (60/40). Our processes are streamlined to ensure minimum usage of raw material and energy. We make sure to collect all metal residue for recycling purposes. We also collect steel from other manufacturers for recycling purposes.

Our paint shop was designed to capture and recycle all residual paint dust and to limit our employees’ exposure to chemicals.

Paper usage is kept to a minimum and all employees have access to recycling bins.

Steel initiated the design and creation of special garbage and recycling bins which are being used on a test basis by one of Montreal’s boroughs in order to facilitate waste and recycling management.
